I'm considering adding a couple more muses:

Jackson Rott: Des's brother, God of their world's "hell" known as The Lowlands. Kind of gives Hades vibes. Not evil, much more neutral to the suffering that happens under his watch. He doesn't tempt people into sin or anything, merely letting people dig their own grave when it comes down to it.

Leland Rott: Jackson's son. Unapologetically evil. Kills his father and mother with the help of his twin brother, Vick. Believes that suffering is the way of the world and he's here to cause more of it.

ooh ok so i don't know if you played On Thin Ice on RC but there's an episode where the Rage of the Titans MC makes a small cameo as one of the main character's old friends! I don't know anything about Andrea or ROTT since I haven't gotten to it yet but I thought it was cool they did that <3

I like how they're entwined, Andrea and Catherine were school friends (and more, if you go down that path), Murphy and Tate are friends, and Murphy lends his bike to him. Hodge and Pierce and business partners, while Hades organizes races that Adrian and Brian take part in.

So I'm replaying RotT and speaking as both a devotee and because she's just my favorite goddess in general, I almost forgot how much I hated Persephone's portrayal in this! Not helped by the fact that it felt like nothing was resolved with her iirc, Hades simply lets her go after briefly imprisoning her in the end and that's it.

I haven't gotten to this part yet (still replaying S1), but remind me, what even was the reason behind her betrayal? I think it had something to do with wanting to be with/protect Hades, but personally, if you're going to make the Greek goddess of Spring into an antagonist of sorts, I feel like her wanting to get revenge after she's essentially forced into an arranged marriage (the Abduction) and the other gods save for Demeter doing nothing about it would've made much more sense, especially since there was even a flashback of her fearing Hades earlier.

To be honest I don't remember 🤡 I already finished reading ROTT but until today the plot is a bit confusing for me.

I also never understood if she really liked Hades or not 🤔 Too bad because their relationship is one of my favorite stories in Greek mythology.

I didn’t read the ROTT new chapter yet (I didn’t even start the others) but can someone tell me if hades is there—-does she make a lot of appearances?

Okay so I was not expecting that Marshall reveal lmao I thought he'd be like someone who knows or might be a minor Greek deity/monster but it's so much better that he's Hephaestus. We might get more relevant info about what happened to the Olympians since he was actually there and not some secondhanded 'lore'.

Can't wait to see him in his chiton tho 👀👀

Also! We know about Hades, Persephone and we pretty much know about Cerberus too. So I'm thinking that Adrian might be Thanatos.

In the flashback scene between Hades and Persephone we see her mention that Thanatos and Cerberus will take care of her and since we know one of them, it's only fitting that Adrian turns out to be the other. They also live in different wings of the Newman house so maybe it's to separate Hades and Persephone from their employees (if we can even call it that).
